This is the free version of Retro Snake, which was first released in 2010.

A proper snake doesn't need the eye candy!

Remember the times when people used real, physical buttons to interact with the game. Screens were please-do-not-touch (let alone the multitouch) and everything was in an ugly shade of black (depending on the battery level) on the highlighted green backlight.

Now the same old, simple and pixelated interface is available on your iPhone!

Retro snake offers you everything a snake game needs and nothing more:

- No complex interaction. A simple physical interface simulation to interact with the game. (Game area does not respond to touch events.)

- No complex game graphics, transitions or sound effects. Simple black and white game screen with over-sized pixels. A simple snake, a pixel large bait and regularly appearing, distinguishable bonus baits.

- No complex high score system. Only one high score field just like any simple game would have.

- No complex game settings. Only variable is the game speed.

- No learning curve. It's the millionth variation of the same game, just stripped down to its bones from anything unnecessary.
