Are you into excitement, speed and extreme action on your iPhone or iPod Touch? Do you love flashing lights and sounds that remind you of a casino? Then Sorty is the game for you!
You’ve got to be fast to win with this app. Distractions and slow reflexes just won’t cut it here. Get those falling colored balls off the screen by moving them over the matching bars to make it to victory. Sound easy? If you’re lightning fast with a touch screen, maybe. Otherwise this app is going to provide you with enough addictive challenge to keep you going for a long time.
Don’t get too comfortable once you’ve figured out how to connect neighboring balls to clear the screen faster. They’ll be falling at a rapidly increasing speed, which is going to test your abilities and keep you sharp. If the screen fills up, Sorty wins.
The game does give you a break to help you out. After every 5,000 points you score, Sorty releases bombs to clear the playing field enough for more balls to drop. It’ll buy you some breathing room, letting the game go on longer. To help you get to those high scores, this intuitive application drops 2x balls which will give you the chance to earn double points but only for a limited time. Did we mention that speed is of the essence in this game?
One of the great features of this app is the ability to invite and challenge contacts from your email or social media accounts. Sorty refers to this as the integrated scoreloop module, but you’ll probably consider it and the included tutorial a part of your gaming strategy.
Think you could beat your buddies from Facebook? Practice often and then have a Sorty Tournament of Champions. Be careful though. Once you claim victory, others are likely going to want a shot at the top. It’ll be easy to keep track of the up and comers through the built-in global highscore list. Keep watch and you’ll know who’s likely to want a crack at your title.
