If you are a fan of word games such as crossword puzzles, you will love Transformations!
Transformations is a challenging word game where you fill 15 Word Boxes. Each Word Box has one or two definitions for the word, and neighboring words are connected by transforms.
One transform between words is 'Change One'. This means that the two words are mostly the same, there is only one letter difference between the two words. READ and ROAD can be connected by the Change One transform.
Other transforms are Add One (READ and BREAD), Add 2 (READ and REWARD), Shuffle (READ and DARE), and Sounds Alike (READ and REED).
Using the definitions, the words in the neighboring Word Boxes, and the transforms, work your way around the board filling in the empty Word Boxes. If you get stuck in one direction, approach that box from a different direction. The game can also give you hints if you get stuck.
There are two modes of play with Transformations: Traditional and Challenge. In the Traditional mode, you play the puzzles at your own pace. When you finish one puzzle, go on to the next. In Challenge mode, you pick a time limit. You then have that much time to complete as many puzzles as you can. You earn points for the number of puzzles solved, and if you have an incomplete puzzle when the time is up, you also get points for each correct letter.
The 2000 puzzles in Transformations are divided into Easy, Medium, and Hard groups, so you can play at whatever level of challenge you prefer.
