Word Pirate! is a word game for one or two players. Build words from new letters or by adding and scrambling the letters of an existing word. Steal words from your opponent for maximum scores.

What's new
Word Pirate! 2.0 has the features you've been asking for!
Notifications. With sounds, badges and alerts, Push Notifications let you know when its your turn in any of your Word Pirate! games. All Notifications are fully controllable by the user in Settings.
Personal STATS. Let the world know how you rank as a Word Pirate! New STATS include: high score, best solo game; high score, best two-player game, Player Rating, and Win/Lose Percentage. Word Pirate! also displays your best twenty-five solo games and best twenty-five two-player games.
Ratings. Word Pirate has adopted the Elo rating system as its
official scoring mode. Everyone starts out with a score of 1200 and moves up or down according to wins/losses and the rating of their opponents. In other words, beating a strong opponent is a better WIN than beating a weaker one.
Login with or without a Facebook identity. Whether you have a Facebook account or not, now you can play Word Pirate! Challenge a Facebook friend or just start a casual game on the internet. It's up to you!
Chat. The new chat area allows you to chat with opponents during game play. Make friends, or cultivate bitter enemies!
Results. The previous turn is now posted during your turn. You might see: "Mary added A to DRAW to make AWARD for 83 pts."
Double-Tapping last tile added. Until now, to clear the rack of an unwanted tile players were required to clear all and start again. Now, tap-tap and the last letter you put in is returned to the tray above.
Auto-dictionary lookup. As you're dragging letters into the rack, if a valid word appears the tray turns green. What could be easier? Who knows? You could get lucky.
Faster, more intuitive user interface and new Game View screen graphics.
