X-Mapper Pro (for X-Plane)
“X-Mapper Pro” is a helper application for X-Plane flight simulator. Connecting to a computer running X-Plane makes your iPhone/iPad work as a useful flight-assistance device including map tracker, flight yoke and full-equipped avionics panel.
*This application requires full or demo version of X-Plane 9 or 10 Mac/Windows/Linux.
*“X-Mapper Lite,” the free reduced edition, is also available. Please try it if you only need the map tracker feature without flight path.
MAP TRACKER
The location and heading of the simulated aircraft will be displayed in the map with an orange icon when settings completed and network connection established. As “Pro” edition bonus feature, the flight path is also drawn on the map as orange lines. Other map tracker features are as ones with “X-Mapper Lite.”
FLIGHT YOKE
Touching and holding on the white slider activates motion sensor that allows you to control your aircraft like as 3-axis joystick. It has following features:
–Controlling the aileron and the elevator by the tilt of your device
–Controlling the rudder by the slider for taxiing and crosswind takeoff/landing
–Releasing the slider disables the motion sensor and maintains trim-neutral
–Auto-calibrated elevator allows you comfortable tilt-operation
The motion sensor is enabled only while touched on, so you may let your device down anytime without unexpected consequence. It is convenient for auxiliary control in IFR flight.
THROTTLE CONTROLLER
With the black slider, you can control the throttle as well as watch the auto-throttle feedback. This smart controller allows you fine tuning of jet engines without expensive dedicated devices. Also, there is a handy reverser button for smooth operation at landing and rejecting takeoff.
AVIONICS PANEL
The full-equipped avionics panel allows you to operate various radio and autopilot equipment. It is useful especially for IFR operations that was bothering the pilot in busy. Also, you can setup the autobrake even if omitted in some cockpit panels.
GETTING X-PLANE
Mac/Windows/Linux version of X-Plane 9.69, 10 or later is required to use this application: It can’t be used for iPhone/iPad version of X-Plane. Open “Obtain X-Plane” from the ⓘInfo Menu for ordering the full version or downloading the free Demo version.

What's new
Version 1.1.1 adds flight path drawing feature as well as includes several fixes and imprevements.
FLIGHT PATH DRAWING
The Map Tracker now draws the flight path on the map as orange lines. Open the action menu from the upper-right button to hide, show or reset the flight path.
FIXED iPAD LAYOUT ISSUE
Fixed a bug on iPad that causes the layout disorder of the Avionics Panel when opening in the landscape mode.
IMPROVED MAP REDRAWING
Improved the map drawing process on old devices such as iPhone 3G, so that accidental redrawing stalls would be avoided. Still if you encounter insufficient redrawing at rushed situations, try zooming out by two-finger tap or turning off the flight path.
