This is X-Plane TRAINER.
Based on the X-Plane engine, this gives you a Cessna 172 trainer and all of the flying regions of the full X-Plane. As well as this single airplane and plenty of flying regions, I give you continuous help-tips, showing you how to fly from take-off, to climb-out, to turning around and bringing it back in for landing. This training really helps you fly the plane more accurately (like a REAL one!) and I find that as I fly X-Plane trainer, I really do fly it more like a REAL plane because of the tips on power, flaps, speed, and altitude that keep my flight under control, rather than getting too fast or high on approach!
There have been 10 free updates to the other X-Plane programs so far (with more planned), and future free updates to THIS app will include more flight-training scenarios... maybe steep turns and stalls?
Replay mode!
When you hit the pause button, you enter replay mode now!
Fast forward and rewind as desired to see the last bit of your flight
No more getting away with digging your props into the ground... if you do that, then that is counted as a crash!
Hi-res map, complete with airport runways! Just zoom in on the existing map to get amazing detail!
New paint for many of the planes, with more detail! This helps many of the planes really look more real.
Lighting and fog model area bit more detailed... the sky gets grayer as the visibility comes down.
As well, mountain and cloud rendering should look more realistic above those overcast layers
Frame-rate optimizations to get that frame-rate up a bit more for smoother flight dynamics!
With the improved airplane paint on many of the planes, improved sky colors and cloud rendering, and
improved frame-rate, the whole experience is just a bit more realistic and fluid.
