Confused by food ingredient labels? Now you can check the ingredients right in the store just by entering its name. Find out if an ingredient is carcinogenic, banned in other countries, bad for kids or pregnant women, genetically modified, or causes drug interaction or allergies.
Today's food labels are of no use if you are not able to understand them. Although not all inclusive, Don't Eat That provides you with useful information on over 1900 food additives and ingredients.
When it comes to what you eat, various food safety organization standards might not be as high as yours.
To search for ingredients, just type in 4 to 6 letters of the ingredient name and tap search. Scroll down to the ingredient and tap the name to display details.
