Insulin Calculator is a handy tool for calculating insulin doses based on blood glucose and carbohydrate intake using the formula:

Insulin = ((glucose-TR)/CF) + (carbohydrates/KF)

TR = target rate
CF = corrective factor
KF = carbohydrate factor

Blood glucose and target rate are expressed in mg/dL or mmol/L. Constants should be set by your physician
