Panic!
If you're ever in an emergency situation where you need to call for help, just hit the Panic! button.
Panic! will dial the emergency services number (911 for the United States, 112 for much of Europe for example) you designate, or it can dial from your contacts list or a custom number of your choice. At your direction, Panic! can dial this number when the application launches.
Additionally, subject to limits of iPhone Location Services, it can locate nearby hospitals as well as provide directions to your home. Panic! also interfaces with ICE to provide quick access to your emergency information.
What's new
Compatibility with iPhone OS 3.0
Application now auto-detects the presence of an In Case of Emergency application, provided it conforms to the ice: URL scheme. ICE, also by Catalyst Software, is fully compatible with this application.
IMPORTANT NOTE: due to changes in the way that iPhone OS 3.0 now handles third party application phone dialing, a confirmation alert will be displayed whenever you attempt to dial a phone number. Unfortunately, this new behavior is enforced by the device.
