*** The Science behind BrainWave Power Nap ***

BrainWave Power Nap uses a series of binaural brainwave entrainment programs, and frequency blends, combined with configurable, soothing ambient nature sounds to create the perfect restful, energizing power nap.

Power Nap uses the technique of brainwave entrainment through binaural tones to induce desired brainwave patterns in your mind. With binaural tones two different audible frequencies are played into each ear, with the difference between those two frequencies being the lower, inaudible target brainwave frequency. When your brain processes the two different frequencies the lower brainwave frequency is perceived. Through the entrainment process your brain will then match that frequency, thus inducing the desired mental state.

Head/ear phones are required for this technique to be effective.

*** Progressive Brain Wave Entrainment ***

Power Nap goes beyond just putting you to sleep. The goal is to relax you, take you to a brief meditative state, then put you to sleep quickly. When you near the end of your nap the program changes and gently brings you out of that deep delta wave state to a relaxed state, and finally to a state of mental alertness and focus.

Choose between Ocean Waves, Rain, Thunder and Pink Noise (a common background sound used with binaural tones). The ambient sounds do not affect the brainwave entrainment process and in fact help calm your mind and make the process more effective.
