Sit Up Counter (Accelerometer Auto-Counter)

This app uses the iPhone's built in Accelerometer to count your situps. The Accelerometer is a built-in feature that knows the orientation of the iPhone. Meaning, it knows if the iPhone is up, down, on its side, facing up, facing down, etc.

By using this feature, we can actually determine if you are sitting up or laying down during your sit up workout. That enables the app to actually count your sit ups without having to click any buttons.

To start the app counting, attach the iPhone to a neckstrap, armband, or hold it still in your hand with your arms crossed.

Click START and then begin your sit up workout and it will start counting for you handsfree automatically.

You can also set a target situp number & then once you reach that number, a sound will play letting you know you have reached your target.

That is as simple as it is, it actually counts for you so you don't have to worry about counting your sit-ups while you workout!

It will work best with either an armband or a neck strap but you can hold it still in your hand with your arms are crossed as well.
