Time Trials is a tool for competitive race training, including biking, running, cross-country skiing and/or for general fitness training. Uses GPS data to allow you to race or pace against any of your previous trail activities. You can also race against an arbitrary time with any previous trail activity used as a profile. Voice enabled with time, time from target, distance from target, distance, remaining distance, pace, avg. pace, speed and avg. speed alerts allow you to put your iphone in your pocket without needing to view screen. On devices supporting multitasking Time Trials will run in the background collecting GPS data and issuing voice alerts.

Time Trials Features:
• Display your “ghost” (you from a previous trail run), your current position, the trail, split flags and your start and finish points using the “Map View”
• The "Data View" can display current time, distance, remaining distance, pace, avg. pace, speed, avg. speed, time from target or distance from target
• Splits can be defined for any trail with a length of at least 1 kilometer
• When viewing the trail detail, rotate your iPhone to landscape orientation to view a graph of your performance over time
• Set the “Map View” to auto-scroll, or choose to set the map region and zoom in and out yourself
• Time Trials supports both U.S. and metric units
• "Map View" supports standard, hybrid, and satellite maps
• Voice alerts for time, time from target, distance from target, distance, remaining distance, avg. pace and avg. speed. iPod music will duck while voice alerts are playing.
• Voice alerts on time interval, splits or at finish.
• Statistics include: activity count, total kilometers, total miles, kilometers per day, miles per day, total time, avg. time, best time, worst time, avg. minutes per mile, avg. minutes per kilometer, avg. miles per hour, avg. kilometers per hour. Statistics are shown for intervals of last 7 days, last 14 days, last 30 days, last 60 days, last 3 months, last 6 months, last year and for all activities.
• Statistics provided for trail splits include: Activity Count, Avg. Time, Best Time, Worst Time, Minutes Per Kilometer, Kilometers Per Hour.
• Use sleep button to dim screen to save battery on long activities
• Auto finish activity will detect finish and end activity without user action.


Getting Started:
1. Add a new trail
2. Run the trail
3. Run the trail again, this time select a previous effort to race against
4. Use the “Graph View” and statistics to track and compare your performance over time

Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
