For centuries totems have been an intricate part of guidance and inspiration for Native people. By mixing old world meanings and beliefs and new technology you can now learn what all those special animal encounters mean for you.

Imagine you woke up this morning remembering a dream about a giraffe. You turn on the news and learn that a baby giraffe was born at the local zoo. At work, you notice a co-worker has a stuffed giraffe on their desk. Is all this coincidence, or does the giraffe have a message for you. Animal totems can appear in many forms, not only in dreams or visions. The Animal Totem Cards app helps you understand what message the animal has for you. Good thing too. When you open your app, you learn that the giraffe tells you that "Now is the time to stick your neck out for something you believe in". This mornings meeting may be a good time to bring up that project you've been planning.

The Animal Totem Cards deck provides you with a quick reference guide. Each card contains a photo of the animal, and several "meanings" or messages that reflect the animal. These messages teach us life-lessons that will help guide us, and to deal with every day situations

Want a daily affirmation? Select the browse function, and shake your device for a random card. Use this wisdom to guide you through your day.

If you'd like to track your encounters, the web journal will allow you to enter the time/date, animal, and personal comments.

New cards are updated automatically and downloaded right you your device.

HOW TO USE THE APP.
Once you start the app, select browse. You can search for animals or their traits, or shake for a random card. Double tap the photo of the animal to flip over the card to see their meaning.

There are currently over 90 animals listed including Alligator, Butterfly, Cat, Dolphin, Frog, Jaguar, Meerkat, Raccoon, Wolf, Zebra and more.

NOTE: AFTER YOU RUN THE APP FOR THE FIRST TIME ALL THE NEW CARDS SHOULD BE DOWNLOADED, IF NOT, CLOSE THE APP AND REOPEN IT.

What's new

Small bug fix for those who don't see all the images load the first time they open the app.

If you've had this problem, please uninstall the app and install again. This update should fix it.
