People all over the world, inspired by a classic Christmas novella, collect change throughout the year and give it away in an act of selfless service. Keeping a Christmas Jar in the age of electronic payment is difficult. We don’t often come home in the evening with pockets bulging with nickels, dimes, and quarters.

This simple application will let you keep track of your “virtual change”. After paying with a credit or debit card, use ChristmasJar to add a little change to the jar stored in your iPhone or iPod Touch. Every few weeks, drop some cash or write a check to your physical jar equal to the amount shown on your device. Then “empty” the virtual jar and start another cycle!
