Get in the holiday spirit! Do you love to see sparkling Christmas lights during the holiday season? Do your kids get a kick out of inflatable Santas and glowing displays full of colorful lights? Whether you are at home or visiting relatives, MapMuse’s Christmas Light Display App allows you to find the biggest and brightest Christmas light displays, where ever you are. And in keeping with the holiday spirit, it’s free!

The MapMuse Christmas Light Display App allows you to easily search an interactive map of Christmas light displays. Either use your current location or input any location to see all the Christmas light displays near you. Scroll the map and the results are automatically updated with no need to enter a new location. Whether you’re looking for a neighborhood full of holiday cheer, or a big display show with sound and animation, you can find the perfect Christmas light display anywhere.

In addition to finding Christmas light displays, you can also submit comments and photos of any location. If we’ve missed a location, or our information is incorrect, you can add a new location directly from your iPhone, iPod, or iPad by touching “Add” at the bottom of the screen and then choosing the “Christmas Light Displays” option. Your submission will be reviewed for accuracy and the location will be added within 48 hour of your contribution. And every time you start the app, you will receive any updates that have been made by others. You can also add new locations by going to www.mapmuse.com. All additions and changes made on the website are available on the app, and vice-versa.

Download this free add-on to populate your Christmas Light Displays app with over 60 additional Holiday Light Festivals. Many communities put on light festivals to celebrate events like Christmas, Hanukkah, New Years, and the Winter Solstice. Common light festival formats include parades with lighted floats, elaborate LED displays, large tree lightings (e.g. the National Christmas Tree Lighting), and the lighting of major tourist attractions such as the Eiffel Tower and Sydney Opera House. Most light festivals are sponsored by businesses and local governments, and nearly all of them are free and open to the general public.
