Boise Cocktail Compass
Cocktail Compass - The definitive guide to beer swilling and bar hopping in Boise.
It's 5:45 p.m. You've had a long day at work and you're thirsty. Your wallet has a lonely Andrew Jackson in it and your debit card is no good until pay day. You need the closest bar still serving at happy hour prices and you need it now.
Let Boise Weekly's Cocktail Compass find it for you.
Open the app and you'll have a list of all the happy hours closest to you, including the bar's location, distance from where you are and how much time is left on the happy hour clock.
Never heard of one of the bars on the list? Tap the bar name for a brief description of what to expect, as well as a list of amenities like pool tables, food, a patio or free WiFi. If you're up for a game of pool or shuffleboard, and don't know where to go, Cocktail Compass has a search feature that allows you to sort bars by the amenity you want. Search "pool table" or "shuffleboard," and the app will list all of the bars and restaurants in town with tables.
Can't remember the name of a bar you really liked, but you remember that it started with a "C"? Sort all the bars alphabetically and scroll through until you find the one you're looking for. Once you've found it, add it to your list of favorites so that you'll always have the information at your fingertips.
And what's a good bar run without a taxi to get you home? Don't worry about trying to navigate from the app to your contact list or the Internet to find the number of a cab company. Boise Weekly's Cocktail Compass includes that information, too, so you can get home safely.
At Boise Weekly, we have a team of dedicated imbibers, constantly updating and maintaining all of the information in Cocktail Compass so you can be sure this is the most comprehensive and up-to-date guide on drinking in the City of Trees.
