Demiche was opened in 1997 by Michelle Arruda DeVoe. Michelle‚Äôs business has grown from a small consultation business, to a full scale established enterprise offering hair cutting and coloring, skin care, makeup and her signature hairstyle designs.

As a freelance artist, Arruda DeVoe has traveled nationally, educating and inspiring future makeup artists. Why is it important to hire a professional makeup artist if I dont wear makeup?
If you dont hire a professional makeup artist, you could look washed out, shiny, & blotchy in photos that will last a lifetime. Regardless of how great your skin is, it needs some foundation for photography. Applying your own makeup can be disastrous. You could look tired and worn out on the day you want to radiate! Some brides will attempt to do their own and do not think of the pictures. If you go to a professional makeup artist they will be able to give you exactly what you want and make you picture perfect.

Why hire a Demiche Makeup and Hair Artist?
Demiche artists work professionally in the industry & all have a minimum of ten years experience in makeup & hair for photo shoots, television, film, pageants, weddings, etc. Our artists will give you what you want, not what they want. They work with you to design a personalized look. They dont do the same thing on every bride. Demiche artists are trained to work with every age group, hair type, & ethnic background.

Will my makeup last?
If you go to a professional artist, your makeup will last throughout the duration of your wedding. The only thing that needs a touch-up is lipstick, so be sure to purchase one for your purse.

Will my hairstyle stay in?
If you go to someone who specializes in styling, it will last. At Demiche, we guarantee that your hair will stay for the duration of your wedding.

When should I book my wedding hair and makeup artist?
We suggest booking as soon as possible to ensure a spot. Most people book 6 months to one year ahead. Some of our artists are booked on certain weekends up to 2 years in advance! Check your date to make sure it's open. We are happy to hold your date with a signed contract and deposit.
