Enneagram
The Enneagram is a popular personality profiling system, and emphasizes psychological motivations. With this application you will always recall the details of the nine types including the fears, desires and temptations for each personality type.
The application ships with some famous personalities for each type. You can add your friends, family members, coworkers so you can remember what personality type they are. This is fun to know but also helps you guide your interactions with them when you know what drives them.
Choose personality type from first screen and you see a card with a high level description of the type including fear, desire and temptation. You can then touch the card to flip over and see the detailed description of the type. Touch the people button to see some famous examples of this type. When you touch edit you can add or remove from this list to personalize with your friend's names.

There are many good personality tests available on the web and on the iPhone. This application is not a test, although it does link to a test to initially determine personality type. This application's long term value is to describe what the types are and to record what your friend's types are.
