Danwon and Hyewon are representative painters of Chosun Dynasty.

조선시대 대표적인 화가 김홍도와 신윤복의 풍속화입니다. 김홍도(단원)는 무동(舞童, 춤추는 아이), 서당, 나룻배, 씨름 등을 수록한 풍속화첩을 발표하여 민중의 삶을 다룬 작품활동을 하였습니다. 하지만 학계에서는 춘화뿐 아니라 무동을 포함한 단원풍속화첩의 25개의 풍속화중에 19개가 위작이라는 주장도 있습니다.

신윤복(혜원)은 사회 각층을 망라한 김홍도의 풍속화와 달리 도회지의 한량과 기녀 등 남녀 사이의 은은한 정을 잘 나타낸 그림들로 동시대의 애정과 풍류를 그렸고 다수의 춘화작품을 남겼습니다.

일부 수위가 높은 그림에는 모자이크처리가 되었습니다.
