Houseplants brighten up our home or office. They provide health benefits by purifying the air and increasing humidity.

Major factors that should be considered when caring for houseplants are moisture, light, temperature, air humidity, and repotting. Each plant has its own particular requirement.
It is the purpose of this application to provide these requirements and the problems you are likely to find.

You can:

- browse a database with 120 houseplants – no internet access needed;
- pick up a plant from the database or create a new one from scratch;
- create a list of locations and assign each plant to the specific location;
- sort your plants in alphabetical order or by location;
- edit any attributes of your plants - water requirements, air humidity, light preferences, temperature and repotting;
- change a photo of the plant - either choosing an existing photo from your album, or taking a fresh one with an iPhone camera;
- record the date and time the plant was watering;
- add your notes;
- browse a list of problems and probable causes. This list is yours - you can add/edit/delete any item

This update is based on requests from the current users.
Thank you all for your input!

Now you have an ability to sort your plants not only by name or location, but according to date when the next watering should occur.

In order to get this functionality, two fields have been added:

Last time the plant was watered
+
Frequency of watering (a customizable field) *
=
Next watering should occur (a calculated field)

* Do not rely totally on the default values for this field. Only you know the size of the pot, the type of soil, location of the plant, so you can adjust frequency of watering accordingly.
