The application uses the user's location information and displays a list of nearest venues of interest (Cafe, Sushi restaurant, WiFi, Secondhand stores)

The user can also search for a venues near a specific street address or city centre.
For example, user can search for Free WiFi spots near Valand, Goteborg.

The following is the possible list of categories that can be searched.
- Cafe
- Sushi
- Hotel
- Free WiFi spot
- Church
- Camping Place
- Bathing Place
- Airport/Helipads
- Gym
- Youth Hostels
- Second Hand shops

The application shows detailed information about the venues along with the ratings and reviews from other users.

NOTE TO USERS OUTSIDE SWEDEN:

As stated above, Most of the mashups are focussed on Sweden at the moment.

Having said that, If you are planning to visit Sweden, iKartor is one of the Must have applications on your iPhone!
