We listened very hard to all of your feedback and have added some of the most requested features you put to us. We hope you find the improvements we have made sensible and that they still allow for the top quality function and performance seen on the original version.

So what’s new? Well exactly what you said you most wanted in your feedback:

• ADDED – Table of Contents
The familiar print catalogue colour-coded index is now included with handy links directly to the main sections

• ADDED – Search
Now you can search the entire catalogue simply and quickly by keyword and phrases, making it even easier to find what you want really quickly

• ADDED – Bookmarks
Found what you want? Save those pages, and customise the name for easy reference when you are ready to visit our store or shop online at IKEA.co.uk

We are already exploring implementing what other suggestions we received from you whether it be from feedback on the iStore, via twitter, by phone and email. This includes investigating providing detailed product information on demand, geo-location possibilities and store stats at the touch of a button. So watch this space.

This year our regular IKEA catalogue is smaller in format so it's easier for popping into your handbag or briefcase, and now we've made it even smaller by releasing an iPhone version that you can carry with you everywhere you go!
Environmentally conscious IKEA has changed the format to its new smaller size to allow for more efficient catalogue printing - reducing paper consumption and minimising the amount of paper that is wasted during the process, and contributing to lower transportation needs.
This release is the next logical and exciting step in that process.
But back to what's inside? Crammed full of what's hottest and coolest for every room in the house - and all with IKEA's legendary low-price focus.

This first release of the IKEA Catalogue for iPhone allows you to browse our fantastic range if home furnishings as if you were holding the actual catalogue and includes:
• flip pages back and forth using 'Swipe' gestures
• easy First, Previous, Next and Last navigation tool bar
• zoom in and out of any page to get a closer look using double tap and multi touch (pinch) gestures
• jump straight to any page simply typing in the page number
• and a handy thumbnail navigation for even quicker page flipping!
