Joyanokane
Joyanokane is the bell which rings out the old year.
The bell is typically rung 108 times to cleanse the listener of the
108 mortal desires (bonno) that, in traditional Buddhist thinking, are
the cause of suffering.
After 108 ringing, you can receive Omikuji which are random fortunes
written on strips of paper.
大吉 means great blessing.
大凶 means great curse.
