Kärlekshaiku is a beautiful application about love in Swedish. Use it to compose a haiku in Swedish about love and then send it with Mail to someone you love. Kärlekshaiku is a sister of the famous LoveHaiku application, also available in Appstore.
Haiku is a Japanese form of poems. Each poem consists of 17 sounds (morae or on). A on is often translated as a syllable, but it is not fully the same. A syllable normally only counts a full vowel sound, whilst an on is a more fine-tuned concept. In Western languages a haiku is often written in three lines with 5, 7 and 5 sounds respectively.
Kärlekshaiku is a haiku generator for iPhone. It works in three steps. You first enter the name of the person you are writing the Kärlekshaiku for. In the next step you generate the haiku. You can compose as many new haikus as you want. When you are satisfied with the haiku you have composed, you check out and Kärlekshaiku will load it in a new message in Mail. You can edit the haiku and compose the rest of the message in Mail and send it from there to the person you love.

Please note that you can use the application even if you are not connected to Internet. You will be able to compose a haiku and forward it to Mail by checking out, but you will of course need to be connected to send it from Mail.
