OYAKO DAY is a social action started by Bruce and Yoshiko Osborn.
The first Sunday in May is Mother's Day,
the second Sunday in June is Father's Day.
Let's make the fourth Sunday in July OYAKO DAY, a day to reaffirm the bedrock relation between parents and children.
In languages such as English where there is no single word meaning "parent and child", they seek to encourage the use of "OYAKO" to recognize and honor the relation. This year will be the 8th OYAKO DAY.
We hope that this iPhone app will help spread the word to many people.
