Paladin Light and Security
PALADIN LIGHT and SECURITY is an app that helps you take advantage of your device's capability in real world situations. Paladin does this by incorporating 5 basic functions:
FLASH LIGHT uses the built in flash of your iPhone 4/4S as a powerful light to help you in times of need. The bright light is quite powerful for the given task at hand.
SCREEN LIGHT uses the screen of the iPhone as a more moderately powered light, perfect for such things as navigating in a dim movie theater without excessively disturbing others or perhaps reading a book.
EMERGENCY FLASHER uses both the device flash and the front screen as alternating flashers in order to attract attention. By using both the front and back of the device as a flashing light source it increases the chances of being seen regardless of current position.
SOUND SENTRY allows the phone to be used as a dedicated sentry that sits patently, listening for any disturbing sounds. When a sound level is detected over the set threshold, the unit responds with an alarm.
PERSONAL PROTECTION uses the iPhone as a fail safe protection device, a panic switch of sorts. When used as described, the device will flash and set off an alarm, even if you accidentally drop it in a given situation or it is knocked from your hands.
PLEASE NOTE: Continued use of the flash may dramatically decrease battery life.
This app is recommended only for users of the iPhone 4/4S. Use of this app on another device without the integrated flash diminishes its effectiveness.
