Many of us have experienced the childhood pleasure of making a simple origami item, most commonly a paper airplane. You can relieve stress and recapture some of that bliss with a few quick folds of paper!

Origami is an Japanese art of paper folding. 'Ori' means folding and 'kami' means paper in Japanese.

Though, it is taken for granted that origami must have originated in Japan, this is not the case. Origami originated in ancient China around first century AD and it was introduced in Japan by Chinese travelers. This Chinese art of paper folding soon caught fancy of the Japanese who developed various origami shapes.

Application Features

The Origami for Beginners/Advanced guide teaches you how to make all kinds of neat and ingenious items. From elegant and decorative pieces such as the origami lily and origami crane, to functional kids' toys.

The instructions are clear and simple. The guide is divided into two sections:

*one for the beginners (simple and easy origami)
*one for the advanced (more complex items).

There's nothing quite like the joy you get from transforming a plain square piece of paper into a container, animal, flower, etc. It puts a smile on our faces when we complete an origami!
