The app is based on the deck of cards and companion book written by psychologist, Dr. Elsbeth Martindale. She made it for her patients who were dealing with a variety of issues: newly dating, newly single, contemplating divorce, pregnancy, getting engaged, or moving in together. It leads you through 10 questions about you and your partner or crush, each with the option to choose positive, negative, or “unsure”. If you’re stumped or hit a touchy topic, flip the card over to find a list of extended questions that will lead you closer to your answer. Flag areas of concern or stop your session at any point. At the end of the session look back at the review: how many positive vs. negative answers did you have, how many times were you unsure? See which issues need further exploration.
