Sketchpad Escape
Sketchpad Escape is a screensaver. It is not designed to activate immediately, it will ONLY become active after a period of computer inactivity.
It is a screensaver about one designer's doodles. Not just any doodles but that tiny percentage that have a life of their own, standing out from the tangle of scribbles and cup rings on the sheet by your keyboard, or the pages of your sketchbook.
"Over the years I’ve worked at a lot of places - first at The Designers Republic as a designer and from then as a 2D/3D artist in videogame development. In that time there’s been one working constant, the scrap paper and sketchbook pages covered with doodles piling up in my studio at home.
Hidden among those scribbles and symbols lurk characters and creatures, doodled and forgotten. Until now. I thought it was time to do something with them. Searching through the four inch pile of papers and sketchbooks I’ve chosen over sixty that appealed to me. Scanned, cleaned up, and named, these sketchbook escapees are ready for their close up.

The latest version includes in-app payment functionality to upgrade your screensaver. Extra doodles are available, as well as features such as colour customisation and a clock facility!
For security reasons, this app does not monitor keyboard presses; it will only activate after periods of inactivity on your mouse or graphics tablet.
It is also recommended you disable your normal screensaver when running Sketchpad Escape.
