KingPIN - UMTS 3G PIN Entry
KingPIN is _the_ tool for all 3G modem users with PIN enabled SIM cards! It let's you enter your SIM's PIN without the need for a bloated manufacturer application monster.
If you've got a 3G modem and a SIM card that has a PIN lock active you know the problem: After you connect your Modem to your Mac you need to unlock the SIM. Usually you have to use a bloated and ancient java/rosetta software your Modem vendor has put on your driver DVD.
With KingPIN you don't need that anymore. KingPIN is a small and fast native Cocoa application that doesn't demand any Java or Rosetta runtime to be installed on your mac.
KingPIN has been tested with Huawei 3G Modems - like the Huawei e270 USB UMTS. But other modems by other vendors has been reported to work.
Generally as long as you connect your 3G modem over USB it will most probably work with KingPIN. If not contact us and we will try to make it work!
What's new
- improved compatibility with newer modems
