LargeViewer Helper for iOS PreRendering

This application is a helper app for our iPhone/iPad LargeViewer iOS application which allows you to view 100 mega-pixel TIFF images, or PDF pages from normal page sizes to over 30x36 inches. It gives you super fast PDF or TIFF file viewing on your iOS device, and enables you to read PDF files that are normally unreadable by iBooks, and other popular PDF readers. Our IOS apps give you instant scrolling for page sizes measured by meters or by the foot, unlike any other reader in the App Store.

Normally a one time pre-rendering is done on the iOS device by our apps, but is time consuming if you have 8,000 pages. This application allows you to take a PDF or TIFF file or a FOLDER of files and subfolders, and pre-render it for our iOS products:

LargeViewer, PDF, PDF Reader, PDF Viewer, or other products that read TIFF files like FAX, FAX Reader, Fax Viewer, Well Logs, Aeronautical Charts, Photos or other products we market that allow in-app purchases of our accelerated PDF or TIFF readers).

Many Microsoft related PDFs won't render on your IOS device because of special MS compression algorithms, or use of jpeg 2000 images. We solve these problem as OS-X has a license for using these decoders, so you can enjoy reading your Windows created PDF books on your IOS device.

The same applies to many very large PDF files from Adobe, for example we make it possible to get your Adobe product help PDFs onto your IOS device.

This is app is especially helpful when dealing with 8,000 page PDF text books, or TIFF based Well Logs that are 11.5 inches by 85 feet, or Panoramic photos that span 250 mega-pixels.

That said we also make viewing and scrolling your normal PDF based book extraordinarily fast.

What's new

Add thumbnail to meta-data files to avoid having the IOS app recreate the thumbnail on import, depending on the sheet size this can save many minutes.

Support JPEG images that are embedded in TIFF files.

Convert single page PDF sheets that are > 144 mega-pixels after applying the scale factor to tiled meta-data files for better iOS device viewing.

Fixes:
Problem with crash when TIFF files exceed 450 mega-pixels.
Problem with occasional crash when updating status msg/image.
Issue with crash when file selection dialog opens.
Show thumbnails as we render multi-page TIFF files.
Better feedback on progress.

Feedback message for corrupt PDF files, and PDF files that are encrypted.
