WordPerfect Viewer

Need to view a WordPerfect document on your (Lion or Snow Leopard) Mac? There's an app for that.

Finally, you can view those WordPerfect email attachments without having to ask a friend to borrow their Windows laptop!

WPD Viewer converts WordPerfect documents into PDF, RTF, or TXT. Drag and drop files into WPD Viewer or open them directly.

Note: If you're coming from the Mac version of WordPerfect, be sure to add a .wpd extension to your files!

Once you've exported your WordPerfect document, you can edit the results in your word processor of choice.

• WordPerfect Viewer is NOT an editor: it converts your WPD documents into a format that can be read on your Mac.

• WordPerfect Viewer does not preserve complex page formatting, metadata, margins, headers or footers.

• WordPerfect documents must have a .wpd extension for WordPerfect Viewer to recognize them as WordPerfect files. We recommend that you add the .wpd extension to your files to ensure compatibility with both WordPerfect for Windows (a product of Corel Corporation) and WordPerfect Viewer.

• WPD WPD WPD WPD. (It's worth repeating). Documents must have a .wpd extension for WordPerfect Viewer to recognize them as WordPerfect documents. (You can read the reviews for examples of frustrated users who skipped this step!).

• WPD WPD WPD WPD (It's worth repeating a second time). WordPerfect Viewer does not open WPS WPS WPS documents. WPS documents are Microsoft Works Documents.
