The first and only app to help suppress or stop the symptoms of motion sickness.
--------------------------
This app takes advantage of a discovery by NASA that space sickness (motion sickness from zero gravity) was lacking in astronauts whose eyes seemed to dart back and forth more than normal. These eye movements, also called "square wave jerks" helped to freeze the image on the retina long enough for the brain to compensate for the eyes conflicting with inner ear signals.
A scientist named Millard Reschke after further researching this affect, discovered that by flashing a 10ms strobe 4 times per second you could again freeze an image on the retina to help combat motion sickness. This app does this as well, to help suppress the symptoms of motion sickness.
To use this app, open the settings toolbar by sliding your finger across the screen or by tapping the center of the screen, then set the flash rate (between 1 and 10 Hz) to what works best for you. Then you can either stare at the target on the center of the screen until symptoms subside or in a darker environment, you can use the flashing light to read or better view your surroundings without becoming motion sick.
