The Reference Aid for Modified CTAS (Canadian Triage Acuity Scale) is intended to be used in conjunction with a full acuity education module for CTAS.
This Reference Aid includes a variety of topics for quick reference in triage. Some of the many topics included are Triage Assessment Process, Level Definitions, Discriminators such as Respiratory, Temperature, and Pain/Distress. There are also notes on key issues including Rechecks, Waiting Room Issues, Reassessment Guidelines, and more. The Reference Aid for Modified CTAS (Canadian Triage Acuity Scale) is a valuable tool for hardwiring formal triage education such as that offered by Triage First, Inc.
