Need an Emergency Room? When seconds count, find the nearest HCA North Texas ER’s. Based on your location, the FREE application will help North Texas patients and families locate the nearest HCA adult and pediatric emergency services, provide hospital links and phone number, driving directions, and 911 options. HCA ERs use the best practices to provide great quality care in a shorter window of time - we share what to expect for average wait time from registration to physician greet.

This free application also has google health, which provides you access to your health records**. If you do not have a health records account, sign up for free**.
In order to better serve the community, HCA will be able to see which zip codes are requesting the ER wait times but will not know who is requesting this data. This data will be used to better understand the medical needs of the local community and help establish future HCA health care facilities. If you have an emergency please call 911.

About our ER Wait times: ER times are approximate and provided for informational purposes only. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911. The average ER wait time represents the time it takes to see a qualified medical professional, defined as a Doctor of Medicine (MD), Doctor of Osteopathy (DO), Physician Assistant (PA), or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP). Average ER wait times change quickly depending on the urgency of patients.

Average ER wait times represent a four-hour rolling average updated every 30 minutes, and is defined as the time of patient arrival until the time the patient is greeted.by a qualified medical professional. Patients are triaged at arrival and are then seen by a qualified medical professional in priority order based on their presenting complaint and reason for visit.

Any non-digital posting of HCA average EDR wait times reflects the previous month’s average ER wait times defined as the time of patient arrival until the time the patient is greeted by a qualified medical professional.

National average wait time is one hour, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
