People who develop chronic Renal Disease may have numerous tests done over the course of their treatment. They should record these measurements to be in control of their disease, be aware of the normal ranges of these measurements and if not in normal range consult their care provider on how to improve them and hopefully bring them back within the normal range.

This application exactly helps you in doing that !
It allows you to store all relevant measurements and other test results in your phone for easy access and entries.

This disease has many stages and an effective management regime can delay progression and drastically improve quality of life.

Kidney Journal is a utility, a person suffering from chronic kidney disease can use to actively manage and work with their physician to monitor renal health.

All suggested guidelines used within this app are based on recommended practices by the National Kidney Foundation.

Key features include:

1. Easy enter and store measurements for:
_Kt/V (Kay tee over vee)
_URR (Urea reduction ratio)
_Kidney Function
_Medication Log and Chart


2. Dialysis tab allows storage of parameters every dialysis patient should record at every dialysis session. Ask the dialysis technician for these numbers, store them, track them, recognize patterns and share them with your care provider.

3. Key Health Indicator section provides a 1-screen quick view of all key Renal Health Indicators. This allows for a dialysis tech or physician to access the relevant information quickly and without cumbersome application navigation.

4. When on the move or for an emergency find the closest Dialysis center.(uses Google map)

5. Keep all the emergency contacts in one location, ICE section with 1-Touch call dialing within the application. Primary physician, Nephrologist, Insurance plan, Pharmacy and other important contacts.

6. Password protect access to all the information. Password can be left blank for quick access or in cases where the handset may have its own master password set.

7. Email the data stored in the application for archiving and sharing purposes.
