MoleTrac
Most moles are harmless, but some may become cancerous. Monitoring moles and other pigmented patches is an important step in detecting skin cancer, especially malignant melanoma. Not all melanomas develop from pre-existing moles, but many begin in or near a mole or other dark spot on the skin.
Using the camera on your iPhone or iPad, MoleTrac builds a photographic diary of any of your moles. You can track as many moles as you like. You can also easily add important characteristics such as its size, color and thickness, so you can quickly tell if a mole is growing or changing over time.
MoleTrac allows you to cycle through the pictures for each mole so you can immediately see any changes over time.
Should you see a doctor?
Make an appointment with your doctor if you notice any changes to a mole that worry you. You can show these changes with all your MoleTrac photographs and details, helping their diagnosis.
**NOTE: This app requires a camera, so please only use if you have an iPhone or iPad2**
