Paracetamol Overdose
Paracetamol Overdose is a clinical decision support tool designed for clinicians who manage patients with this condition.
In just four finger gestures a complete management plan is created and is exportable via email.
The input variables for a single overdose are Weight, Time of overdose, Dose taken and the Patients risk. Management plans can also be generated based on Lab results or a Staggered overdose.
The results are presented as a Summary of the overdose, Advise, Actions, Cautions, Investigations and Treatments including antidote dose calculations. We have also included Reassessment times, Gastroenterology and Liver transplant referral criteria with links to documents.
This application also gives the end user added Information about each of these steps and can be used as an educational tool.
