Armonique Lite

Armonique is a hybrid Internet radio / music discovery platform.

Unlike other systems that use humans to tag songs, Armonique uses Pythagorean principles of harmonic proportion to identify aesthetic similarities in music.

The Lite version works with 6,045 MP3 songs from Magnatune.com available under a Creative Commons license.

* Armonique starts with a random playlist of songs.

* If you like a song, tap "Get More Like This". This creates a playlist with aesthetically similar songs.

* Swipe horizontally to see songs in playlist.

* Single tap song image to play.

* Double tap song image for artist info.

* If you like a song, you can add it to Favorites (30 max).

* For more random songs, shake device.

* Armonique keeps a history of the last 30 songs played.

Armonique is funded by the US National Science Foundation. It is developed by the Computer Music Research lab in the Computer Science Department at the College of Charleston.
