Del Gibbons / Del*Logic Official Fan App

This application allows you to enter the world of the music of Del Gibbons / Del*Logic!

Derek Gibbons is a Scottish composer/producer living in London who writes, composes, performs and produces under the “Del Gibbons” and “Del*Logic” pseudonyms.

Derek holds both MA Masters (with commendation) and BMus(Hons) Music degrees & passed 15 ABRSM exams by the age of 17, many with merit/distinction, across piano and violin, giving him an excellent grounding in not only in music production but also live stage performance.

To date, Derek has remixed for Grime/R’n’B group Fr3e (”Tribal Skank”) and their October 2010
release “Let Me Go” and is currently producing music with vocalists and MC’s including legendary garage MC Kie (DJ EZ, Sparks and Kai “Fly Bi”), Champagne Bubblee, Racquel Roberts (Brownstone), Michelle Ann Owens (VH-1), AJ Lewis (Channel Five’s “Don’t Stop Believing”), Tori Beaumont and Ann Bailey (Arista Records).

Derek also co-writes with UK based underground and progressive house DJ Alex Madden (Hed Kandi World Series London, Unknown-fm.net) as well as the Swedish house production duo Casca and RoZon.

Having started writing music for Terrestrial UK TV
productions on Five, FiveUSA, STV (ITV 1 Scotland) and UTV, and on many other UK and International channels (Supercasino, Brainbox ZeeTV India, STS USA, Quizcall, The Great Big Quiz etc.), he has now branched out into writing music in the house,
commercial and R’n’B genres, along with producing for and with a range of independent artistes.

Currently in the process of setting up a live P.A. with close musician colleagues and vocalists with a similar mindset, and cultivating relationships with sought after sound engineers and musicians including Neil Williams (Talking Loud), Streaky Gee, and George Lambert/Chris Alexander (Massive Masters, Freerange Mastering) - the future is looking bright.
