DS audio
For users who own a Synology DiskStation, DS audio allows you to stream music stored on DiskStation with your iPhone/iPad whenever Internet connection is available. You can browse music by folders or genres, and be able to play music in the background. DS audio also comes with the remote control feature which provides an intuitive way to browse through Audio Station music tank. It enables you to remote control Audio Station music playback on the connected speakers in a convenient way.
With DS audio for iPhone/iPad, you can:
- Play music stored on your DiskStation with iPhone/iPad/iPod touch
- Browse music by playlist, artist, genre, folder, or album
- Search music files with keywords
- Listening to Internet Radio programs (DSM 3.2 or onward)
- Remote control Audio Station’s music playing on the attached speakers or Airplay-enabled and UPnP media renders (DSM 3.1-1725 or onward)
- HTTPS support for secure connection
- DSM 3.1 or onward is supported
