Funkyplayer

Control your music without looking at the device!

Funkyplayer enables you to control your device while walking, biking, snowboarding, and jogging – actually while doing anything assuming that you have one finger or hand free. And most importantly, without any eye contact to your device, so you can focus your eyes on the important task.

Use touchscreen or gestures to give commands and listen to the 3D audio around you. Visual and audio menus are identical – you can quickly alter between modes.

Funkyplayer is a new revolutionary patent pending Hipui user interface technology, which was developed by researchers in virtual acoustics and embodied interfaces at the Helsinki University of Technology. Hipui is a startup that is commercializing this pioneering research and making world easier through natural usability.

KNOWN LIMITATIONS
- Quality of speech synthesis – we couldn’t afford a better one in a free app
- Only a limited subset of iPod features implemented in first release
