Grady Tate

Grady Tate is a talented hard bop and soul-jazz drummer and singer. His distinctive sound has graced hundreds of recordings for the past three decades with world-renowned music artists including Quincy Jones, Tony Bennett, Ella Fitzgerald, and Aretha Franklin, just to name a few.

Professionally, he started out as a drummer and became known as the most swinging and most recorded drummers in jazz history. Grady Tate took the opportunity to go back to his true passion of singing and received glowing reviews for his impeccable style and warm baritone voice. This application features one of Grady Tate’s successful singing albums “Windmills of My Mind”, for which he received a Grammy nomination.
