iPegs
An artful tuner designed by and for professional musicians working in classical and early music. The tuner provides a tone that is easy to tune to, and so you use your ears to tune. iPegs doesn't listen to your instrument - you do the listening.
The interface is simple and intuitive, and offers a clear pitch for ease in tuning so that you can get the job done quickly.
Fourteen of the most commonly used temperaments are included, and additional temperaments will be included upon request in future versions. iPegs offers four default pitches for A4 (392, 415, 440, and 465), but A4 can be set to any frequency. In addition, accidentals can be set to sharp or flat individually.
What's new
- Improved sound: the sound is louder overall, and lower notes are much easier to hear.
- Corrected spelling of Bradley Lehman's name in the temperaments list.
- Distinguished between Young's first and second temperaments.
