iPeng for iPad
This is iPeng for iPad, the Music Remote for the Logitech® Squeezebox™. iPeng is a remote control application that gives you control over your music all over your home with your iPad.
An additional playback feature is available as an In-App-Purchase from within the App.

iPeng is available in English, Danish, Dutch, German, Italian and Swedish but even in other languages most of the language used in the application will use the Music Source’s language setting and text.
Note to VoiceOver users: If you plan to use iPeng with VoiceOver please chose the iPhone version instead of iPeng for iPad. iPeng for iPhone will run on iPad as well and has superior VoiceOver support.

What’s new in iPeng for iPad 1.3?
iPeng for iPad 1.3 is a feature release that brings you two main improvements and some Retina Display adaptations. All the cover art used in iPeng will now fully support the retina display on the new iPad (in the default sizes), as long as the artwork in your music library supports that size.
1. Completely Rewritten Playback Feature
iPeng’s playback feature (In App Purchase) gets a full overhaul with this release:
• Synchronization support. iPeng now allows you to synchronize its playback with other Squeezebox or iPeng players so that all players will play the same music synchronously (1). Of course you can still play different music on different players if you like.
• Gapless playback. If your music is encoded as “gapless” (no pauses between songs), then iPeng will now play it like that, too.
• Equalization: iPeng now supports the built-in iOS equalizers for its playback feature.
• Big playback buffer: iPeng now can read ahead and buffer some of the music you are playing to improve performance when on mobile networks or if you have bad WiFi coverage (1).
2. Support for iPeng Party
• iPeng Party is a new and free iPeng App that allows party guests to add single tracks to the current playlist without giving them the capability to change any other settings on your player, so you as a host stay in control.
• iPeng for iPad 1.3 can support you (as a host) by allowing you to automatically provide configuration information to your guests using iPeng Party.
