ModPlayer
ModPlayer is a simple music player that plays MOD, S3M, 669, and other tracker files on your iPhone and iPod Touch.
The first MOD file format was created in 1987 for use on the Amiga computer and since then has been used by computer music artists to create music well before MP3s. The historical advantages was that MOD files were small, high quality, and included their own music samples, making them similar but more flexible compared to MIDI files.
This app provides:
* Basic functionality for downloading MOD files from the internet or personal web server to your device through an integrated web browser. Supports extracting from ZIP files now to batch load!
* Browsing the downloaded files on your device. Swipe to delete from the device.
* Mod player which lets you pause and unpause, as well as scrub forwards and backwards within the song.
