Nicki Minaj Is a recording artist born in Saint James, Trinidad and Tobago that was discovered by American hip hop artist Lil Wayne. She has received commercial success with the release of her debut album Pink Friday in 2010. The album top the number one position on the U.S. Billboard 200, and was later certified platinum by the RIAA a month after the album’s release. Minaj also became the first artist to ever have seven singles on the Billboard Hot 100 at the same time. Talk about a fast start!
