Sheet Music
Sheet Music for iOS is the best way to view classical music on your mobile device.
The app contains a library of over 1200 parts -- no extra purchase required. Find pieces by instrument, composer, genre, or keywords.
The notation is continuously scrollable, so you can avoid inconvenient page breaks. But you can also quickly page up or down by tapping.
Every piece can be viewed in portrait or landscape orientation, and at three zoom levels -- just pinch to zoom in and out.
Just a few of the pieces included (viewing requires an Internet connection):
• Beethoven: Für Elise, movements from ten piano sonatas, a piano reduction of the first movement of his Fifth Symphony
• Mozart: the complete "Dissonance" string quartet, three complete piano sonatas including the "Rondo alla turca", the score to the first movement of "Eine kleine Nachtmusik"
• Bach: three complete cello suites, complete Inventions and Sinfonias, Goldberg Variations
• Albeniz: Rumores de la Caleta
• Verdi: La traviata (arranged for piano)
• Joplin: The Entertainer, Maple Leaf Rag
• Schubert: over 30 songs for voice and piano
Other features:
• Metronome: visual or audible, with optional accents
• White or paper texture background
• Favorites organizer
Most of the music has been adapted from the Mutopia Project (http://www.mutopiaproject.org), a fantastic source of free digital sheet music. This app is not affiliated with them in any way.
