The app is free to download and includes a steady feed of news and reviews delivered directly from SPIN.com. For $1.99 per issue (or a $7.99 annual subscription), users receive 60-plus streaming songs and 30-plus streaming videos—curated by SPIN's editors—along with every page of SPIN magazine redesigned for the iPad, the kind of forward-thinking, authoritative editorial content and stunning photography on which SPIN has built its brand. Each issue enables consumers to watch and listen to artists as they read about them, resulting in a totally immersive experience. SPIN Play represents the next generation of SPIN as a cross media platform company and a premiere resource for music discovery.

But SPIN Play is more than a magazine app. It takes advantage of iPad's inherent abilities as a music and video player to create a complete music discovery experience.

Monthly issues feature a SPIN-curated playlist of 60-plus streaming songs, which can be played on the app or over Airplay. SPIN editors sift through the musical clutter to deliver a concise package of the best new songs — and the app's advanced features let you listen to the artists as you're reading about them.

You can also view dozens of exclusive video interviews and performances with featured artists in the app or via Airplay.

SUBSCRIPTIONS: An annual subscription to SPIN Play is for 12 issues. Payment will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. A subscription cannot be cancelled during the active period.

AUTO RENEW: Subscriptions auto renew, management of subscriptions and the auto renew option are through the user's Account Settings in iTunes - not through the Spin Play App. Any changes to the auto renew option take 24 hours to take effect.
