"Technic (born Ishum Carpenter in South Jersey in 1980) is an American hip-hop artist. Although born in New Jersey, he spent time in Connecticut and Orlando, Florida, where he began to make a name for himself as a talented engineer and rapper. He currently lives in and produces music out of Raleigh, North Carolina."
